“The rapid growth of the company is providing exciting new opportunities for the advancement of some of our best people,” said Al Schellenberg, president of Geneva Rock. “Our strength is our people.” Jay Ritchie has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Concrete. Mr. Ritchie brings many years of management experience in operations and sales having supervised Northern Operations for Geneva Rock and Gorge Rock for over 17 years. He is replacing John Young who is moving to a position at Clyde Companies Inc., where he will oversee all ready-mixed concrete operations for all subsidiaries of the Clyde Companies.

Jim Golding has been promoted to Executive Vice President. He was formerly the Construction Division Vice President. Mr. Golding has given solid leadership to the construction division and will now assume overall oversight for construction and ready-mixed concrete divisions of Geneva Rock.
Nathan Schellenberg has been promoted to Vice President of the Construction Division. Mr. Schellenberg was Special Projects Area Manager and has worked many projects, including the light rail and the 123rd South interchange. Other promotions in the organization include Heath Hall to Concrete Engineer; Adam Anderson to Aggregate Sales Manager; Adam Cook to Concrete Technical Manager; and Jeff Cochran to Construction Special Project Manager. Geneva Rock has participated in the growth of many areas within the State of Utah and likes to become part of the communities that it serves by acting responsibly in its operations and adding value back into the community.
